Technical Business Analyst


Job Description:

·         Work with leadership and business units to understand business needs, gather requirements and use creative problem solving to develop simple and effective solutions
·         Coordinator and subject matter expert between technical teams across omni-channel and CRM related functions
·         Develop deep domain knowledge and understanding of business processes supporting the Guest across all channels
·         Prototype solutions to prove data and processes exist for solving ad-hoc business problems including identifying CRM data points, segments, and reports/statistics
·         Work with technical teams to bring process and data into alignment for CRM initiatives
·         Work with technical teams to ensure and improve data quality with CRM and associated systems
·         Work with vendors on business needs to configure and develop features, functionality, and programs within CRM

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum of 5-10 years of previous experience in CRM Analysis, software engineering, or business analysis with a focus in CRM in a professional environment
·         A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or other related discipline is preferred
·         Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to customers or client audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management
·         Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation approaches that will allow progress despite deviation from defined solutions
·         Ability to build strong relationships to maximize influence across organizational channels
·         Ability to negotiate features and requirements to arrive at a deliverable product or set of products
·         Ability to create training plans and facilitate training sessions for various departments within the business 
·         Ability to work with limited supervision
·         Strong organizational skills
Solid Proficiency with:
·         5+ years of working with CRM and web-based software platforms
·         5+ years identifying customer data across channels and integrating for the purpose of building a single view of the guest
·         5+ years of working with relational databases, data warehouses, and other data stores (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, NoSQL, etc.)
·         ETL tools and processes to support integration and centralization of Guest data
·         Strong SQL querying skills
·         Business analysis, problem solving, logic, and analytical skills
·         Eliciting business requirements and documenting business needs
At Least some experience with:
·         Software development including file and API based data exchange
·         Waterfall and agile Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
·         Quality Assurance concepts and strategies
·         Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering & Scope Definition
·         Business Process Modeling, BPI/ITIL
